Hey you, my name is Eva!
I'm a photographer, storyteller, and student of light, living in the heart of the scenic Estonian countryside. The place I call home is a cosy retro cottage embraced by a garden that feeds me, both literally and creatively.
Photography called to me at an early age and these days I capture lifestyle portraits of creatives and dreamers as well as emotion-infused frames of mission-aligned brands, mindful gatherings, and the people who give life to them. That, however, is a story for another website.
The camera follows me into the garden often, and it's through the viewfinder that I've learned to pause and truly see. My photography is rooted in observation and, at times, experimentation. I challenge myself to look with new eyes and explore alternative techniques – be it double exposure, light manipulation, or unexpected angles – to immortalise the feeling of a moment rather than chase perfection.
Whether it's the golden haze of late summer mornings or the blue-hued quietude of winter, my aim is to translate the moods of the seasons into imagery that invites the viewer to step inside.
But I haven't always lived this way. Before finding my way to the countryside, I spent a decade in big cities, yearning for weekends and pouring my energy into work that never quite fit. In that restless pursuit, I lost touch with myself – and, for a time, with my love for photography.
It wasn't until the grief-stricken autumn of 2018 that I decided to follow my heart's calling, pick up my camera again, and walk a path that finally felt like mine.
Fast forward seven years, and I began sowing the seeds of my own print boutique – a serene space to house my photographs of the garden, floral creations, and botanical marvels. I longed to create a place where nature meets my adoration for paper, and where each print offers a moment of solace from the fuss of the world.
At its core, the boutique is an invitation to slow down and breathe deeper, to wander outside, to see with kindness, awe, and intention. Because photography is not just about capturing – it's about experiencing the world through the eyes of another.
