..and a woman who wandered through it daily, camera in hand, attentive to the patient language of growth and change. A place of tranquil solitude, where the mind could rest and the body and soul could find nourishment.

A space filled with imperfections – wild edges and tangled stalks, whimsical plant companionships, and unusual colour palettes – yet perfect in its own peculiar way. It is untamed in places, experimental in others, and entirely unpolished in its honesty.

This garden, formed by the restless moods of a Northern European microclimate, has become both a sanctuary and a living canvas.
In it, the familiar comforts of ageing fruit trees, moss-dusted berry shrubs, swaying meadow flowers, and fragrant herbs exist alongside impulsive attempts – heirloom varieties planted on instinct, self-seeded surprises welcomed rather than removed.

And so it grows, now for six years already, under the watchful eye and tending hand of the woman with the camera, whose daily observations continue to be documented in visuals.
